As Distribution Manager for Yokohama HPT Limited, I am also accountable for facilities. Since my commencement with the company in 2008, SMS Cleaning were the appointed supplier for industrial window cleaning & ad-hoc cleaning projects.

After an eleven week project the company relocated the business in December 2010 to our new facility in Dawson Road, Mount Farm, Milton Keynes. We contacted SMS Cleaning and requested for a thorough clean of the new site after the builders had completed their works in preparation for us to occupy the site the following Monday morning. Despite the short notification, SMS Cleaning were able to react to the request, and over that weekend completed the cleaning of the entire site & carpets to an excellent standard.

The relocation project also included the closure of the site we vacated, and completion of dilapidations & repairs. The project required the services of many contractors (builders, plumbers, painters, electricians, & roofers) attending site to carry out, and complete various repairs & works to the 8,000 sq.ft. offices, and 65,000sq.ft warehouse within very limited time frames. Once again Yokohama HPT Limited contacted SMS and requested their services to complete a thorough industrial cleaning project of all office, kitchen & toilet areas with both areas.

Once again SMS under very pressured circumstances managed to deliver an excellent, and professional service. As the final task with the site closure it was imperative that the correct standard was set for the landlord's representatives of surveyors & property management when they would conduct their final inspection after we had vacated the site.

Because of the reputation & achievements in solving our cleaning requirements throughout the relocation project, we have since received & accepted a proposal for contract cleaning for our new site. Yokohama HPT Limited are looking forward to a long and successful business partnership with SMS Cleaning in the future.

SMS Cleaning Services have provided Aculab with internal and external site cleaning requirements since 2001.

During this time they have suggested and successfully introduced new regimens to better maintain the facility to the high standards we demand and to prolong the service life of fixtures and fittings.

Recently SMS have undertaken testing and inspection of the Fire Alarm and Detection system in conjunction with the servicing of fire extinguishers here at Aculab.
